Eurovision 2024 Day 1 of rehearsals my top 7 & review

Today was the first day of rehearsals in Malmö Sweden has taken place at Malmö arena. The first half of semi-final 1 had their first rehearsal. The countries that rehearsed were Cyprus, Serbia, Lithuania, Ireland, Poland, Ukraine and Croatia. My top 7 is based on the Tik Tok clips which were released earlier today.

1. Croatia: much more polished performance than his Dora's national final performance I really liked the LED and that they added smoke and pyro.

2. Ukraine: loved the colours and atmosphere Jerry Heil and Alyona Alyona delivered great vocals I don't have anything that I don't like, I also like the prop they have added.

3. Serbia: is similar to her national final performance but it's way better I'm glad she added some colours this time it fits with the whole song and I like that also there's "moonlight" behind her. I'm a huge fan of lighting so also adding that in the background added so much and I'm loving it. Her vocals were also really strong.

4. Ireland: doomsday blue is not a song that I like or listen to but Bambie thug has really surprised me I like the concept idea of the staging and I'm excited to see how it will look like with camera angles.

5. Lithuania: similar to his national final performance and also similar outfit I kinda hoped he would change the outfit at least but the performance looks way better than his nf. I never liked faces on LED so that looks a bit weird and creepy for me but overall not bad and apparently Silvester has also added a dance break so I can't wait to see that

6. Cyprus: although Silia vocally she sounds great and her dancing is also on point I'm not a big fan of her outfit the fact that she also wears white and the dancers also white it kinda washes her out and it doesn't fit with the vibe of the song also same as the staging it just looks empty and really underwhelming I was expecting other colours and another outfit.

7. Poland: huge improvement with her vocals I like the towers props I think it looks great with the pyro but I think as overall it might be too much and also her outfit is not that good the red leather suit reminds me of Croatia last year I'm not a huge fan of the song as well so I'm not sure if this will be enough for Poland to qualify.
