Eurovision 2024 day 3 of rehearsals my top 8 & review

Today was the third day of rehearsals in Malmö Sweden has taken place at Malmö arena. The first half of semi-final 2 had their first rehearsal.The countries that rehearsed were Malta, Albania, Greece, Switzerland, Czechia, Austria, Denmark & Armenia. My top 8 is based on the tiktok clips which were released earlier today on @eurovision.

1. Malta: the staging is amazing massive improvement from the national final love how colorfoul it is dancer are also great, Sarah is really giving her 100% energy on stage and I love that , they are really trying everything in their power to qualify and they truly deserve it.

2. Greece: I was going to put greece first but I'm missing something here. Marina sounds great vocally and I love the choreography I feel like they have not shown us a lot so it's hard to judge this based on a few photos and a small clip. I'm curious how the one camera shot will look like I hope it will be good.

3. Austria: really surprised by the staging it fits the song really well everything was on point love the lasers and the pyramid looks intersting I can't wait to see what it will look like with camera angles vocally it was better than her pre-parties performances but there's still work to be done. I also love her outfit everything looks great hope she will qualify.

4. Armenia: we didn't see a lot from the clip only the LED and I'm not sure if I like it it kinda reminds me of Mae Muller UK last year and I don't really like that kind of LED'S but for the colour theme it looks good and fits with the whole vibe of the song the lead singer has so much charisma and she seems very enjoyable. Also I really like the traditional styling.

5. Switzerland: I really like the spinning platform idea and nemo does everything from jumping from the platform to jumping around they give so much energy and vocals are on point however I'm not a huge fan of the outfit hopefully it will be changed.

6. Denmark: SABA's vocals on point her outfit is similar to her nf performnce but a bit upgraded. I like the LED visual where she throws out sand I think it goes well with her song.

7. Czechia: it's not bad definitely miles better than her national final performance she has improved so much with her vocals and also her confidence has grown as well which I'm happy to see but unforutnately the staging doesn't do much for me maybe when I see it with camera angles it can change my mind but for now I don't like it.

8. Albania: yeah I wasn't expecting much from Albania it's giving nq , Besa's vocals are amazing and I'm glad that Albania went with different direction with the staging than their usual red and black colours but this staging looks messy to me and also the choreo doesn't really match with the vibes her outfit is not the final outfit which I'm happy about that but it's still not enough for me to like it.
